The pictorial coverage of the 2008 horse show is being provided as media coverage. The legal interpretation we received regarding the "Photography Policy" we read and agreed to abide by is that it does not prohibit sales of photographic images used in media coverage. However, when provided with that interpretation, the show chair responded that we would sell photos at "our peril." Although we are confident that there could be no successful legal action against us arising from the Policy, the Policy contains the following language: "Violation of this policy may result in removal from the show grounds or revocation of admission and box seat privileges for the current and/or future shows." Based on that threat and the fact that Kim was aggressively singled out with threat of removal at the 2008 show, we have requested the legal basis for such a threat and their complete dismissal of our legal interpretation. We have continually requested the legal basis for both Midwest Charity’s and the Lexington Jr. League’s bans, but neither have felt the need or have provided us the courtesy of responding.

Because of the threat of peril by Mary Jo Moloney as the agent for the Lexington Jr. League Horse Show, SaddlebredWeb will not sell photos from this horse show pending the receipt of the legal basis for the show’s position. Nonetheless, should you want to use any of our copyrighted images to promote your horse in another publication, please call us to discuss our transfer policy. Thank you.
